Della Belle Romine, 78 of East End Hensley, passed away on June 1, 2020. She was born on September 29, 1941 in Story, Arkansas to the late Grady Starlin and Dovie M. Phillips Daves.



Della was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Benton Ward. She served in many callings there with much diligence. Della was retired from the Corp of Engineers where she worked in the Real Estate Department. Della had a degree in Bookkeeping which she applied to many jobs, but most helpful in her joint venture with Jack at Romine’s Grocery and Texaco gas station.



Della enjoyed many hobbies, one of which was fishing in the ponds and creeks at her home as a child, then later in her own pond. She made beautiful quilts which are much treasured by her children and grandchildren.



Della was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dora Lavenia Green.



Those left to cherish her memory, sons, Ronald Romine of East End, Donald (Delia) Romine of Kansas, Tracy (Ira) Romine of Iowa, daughters, Christie (Chris) Speak of Minnesota and Sandra (Mike) Nyberg of Idaho, brother, Gabriel ( Luanne) Daves of Valliant, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Garett Speak, Joshua Speak, Anna Speak, Ashley McGarry, Shawn Brown, Whitney Davis, Cameron Davis, Zoe, Ella and Jonas Romine, Reese Romine and nine great grandchildren.
