Mrs. Dark passed into eternal life on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Otto Cauthen; her mother, Clara Mellissa (Boutwell) Cauthen; son, Douglas Wayne Dark; and 5 sisters, Alma Gertrude May, Beulah Mae Kersh, Juanita Dozier, Lorraine Rouse, and Brenda Cauthen.
Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Douglas Earl Dark of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Lonnie Styron of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Barbie Smith of Oak Grove, Louisiana; 8 grandchildren: Cole Dark, Johnathon Cook, Endia Dark, Dustin Dark, Garren Colquette, Paul Michael Colquette, Aja Smith, and Ali Smith; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Still of Oak Grove, Louisiana; and sister, Shirley Chop of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Grandson will be pallbearers.
