Mrs. Powers died Saturday, May 26, 2001, at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa.
She was born March 11, 1907, in Reliance, S.D., the daughter of Charles and Genevieve Reynolds.
She grew up and attended school in Idaho.
She was a member of Christian Church of Centropolis, where she taught Sunday school and was a church board member.
She married Charles Fredrick Powers in May 1930. He died in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Powers, Point Arena, Calif., and Gail Converse, Centropolis; a son, Richard Powers, Centropolis; a brother, Richard Reynolds, Moscow, Idaho; two sisters, Laurel Jordin and Marjorie Cheatham, both of Spokane, Wash., and 10 grandchildren.
A daughter, Maxine Kratz, died earlier.
