William A Till, 56, of 3028 Charlotte street, an organizer of the American War Dads, died yesterday at St Mary's hospital. He was a salesman for Broadway Motors, Inc, 3401 Broadway.
Mr Till was a charter member and the first president of the Roanoke chapter of the War Dads in 1943. He was re-elected in 1944 and was a delegate to the first founders' council. He was a member of the Co-operative club and the Holy Name society of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Ruth Agnes Till of the home; two sons, the Rev Stephen Till, Ponca City, Ok, and Jack Edward Till, Hollywood, Calif, and a brother, Francis Edward Till, Los Angeles.
Services will be held at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday at the Mellody-McGilley-Eylar chapel and at 9 o'clock at the church. Burial will be in Mt St Mary's cemetery.
