BUHL - Nellie Mills, 74, of Buhl, died Saturday afternoon at her home of a short illness.
Born December 16, 1909 in Crofton, Kentucky, she attended schools in Kentucky and came to the Buhl area with her parents in 1929. She married Fay Hunt in the Salt Lake City Mormon Temple on November 6, 1929. They were later divorced. She married Evan Mills in Elko, Nevada on September 28, 1973. Mrs. Mills had resided in Buhl since that time.
She was a member of the Mormon Church.
Surviving are her husband of Buhl; three daughters, Dixie Smith of Toppenish, Washington, Pauline Bigler of Snowflake, Arizona, and Helen Anderson of Buhl; three sons, Richard Hunt of Kimberly, Howard Hunt of Pocatello, and Duane Hunt of Paul; a stepdaughter, June Cain of Oakland, California; a sister, Imogene Montgomery of Buhl; three brothers, Ed Roberts of Buhl, Normon Roberts of Twin Falls, and LeRoy Roberts of Union Star, Missouri, and 35 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mormon Chapel in Buhl. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery.
