She worked for over 20 years in the field of social work, advocating for survivors of domestic and sexual violence and as an Addiction Counselor.
Sharon retired in 1996 and founded SHERYN'S Place, a safe house for human trafficking victims. She was the author of two children’s books, Teddy Time and T-bird Flying High. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, foster mother, and sister. She was married to Henry Jones for 48 years.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Henry Jones; her son, Henry James Jones; her granddaughters, Sydney Taylor West, Treasure Renee’ Tynan, Sariah Fay Jones; grandsons, Henry James Jones Jr., Brigham Jones; and her great-granddaughter, Saiyora Faelynn Baze.
She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Jones; and her loving parents.
Funeral services were held at Park Hill Cemetery.
