For many years, he was employed by Knoedler Bakery as a driver-salesman.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Church and Western Catholic Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Raymond (Louise) May, of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Services were at SS. Peter and Paul's Church.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
