Dorothy met her husband, Dennis, in Wichita, Kansas in 1961, while he was serving in the Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base. Dennis and Dorothy married on May 25th, 1962. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Dennis’ hometown of Brooklyn, New York, eventually settling in Massapequa, Long Island, NY. Dennis’ law enforcement career resulted in the Fagan family living several different locations; Pemberton Township NJ, Sunrise FL, Freehold NJ, and Plantation FL, before retiring to Springhill in 1998.
During that time, Dorothy worked as a realtor, bank teller, and most of all delighted in being a florist. She enjoyed country and Irish music, bowling, painting, playing cards and dominos with friends and family, and especially her orchids.
By far however, her greatest joy was sharing her love, compassion, and enthusiasm for life, with her husband, children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband Dennis, her children, Shawn, Darrin, Erin, and Kelly, her seven grandchildren, Dennis, Kevin, Brian, Logan, McKayla, Caroline, and Reese, as well as her daughter-in-law Dori and sons-in-law Eric and Jonathan.
