LEVI T. JOHNSON DIES AT COUNTY HOSPITAL
RETIRED FARMER DIES AT AGE OF 95: BURIAL IN ROCKFORD CEMETERY
Levi T. Johnson, 95, retired farmer, whose home was one mile east of Petroleum died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday at the Wells county hospital. Death was due to complications, following an illness of two months.
Born Aug. 18, 1847, in Randolph county, the decedent was the son of Solomon and Margaret Wright Johnson. He was married in Huntington county in June, 1873, to Delphia Redding, whose death occurred in 1932.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Homer Morris, of Pontiac, Mich., Mrs. Leonard Barnes, of Hartford City, and Mrs. Frank Babcock, of Petroleum; a brother, Albert Johnson, of Constantine, Mich., and 16 grandchildren. Two daughters, Cora and Francis, five brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 this afternoon at the residence and at 2:30 p.m. at the Rockford Methodist church, of which Mr Johnson was a member. In charge of Rev. A. E. Turley. Burial was in the Rockford Cemetery.
