Henry Ettelbrick, 89, of 1529 E. Edwards St., died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at the Dirksen House.


He was born in Springfield, the son of August and Anna Marie Wasserman Ettelbrick.


Mr. Ettelbrick was the former owner and operator of the Ettelbrick Shoe Repair Shop at 404 E. Monroe St. for many years.


He was married to Mary Scherf, who died Nov. 23, 1950.


Mr. Ettelbrick was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Holy Name Society, Bishop Griffin Assembly Fourth Degree K. of C.; K. of C. Council 364 and St. Vincent De Paul's Society.
