Gorzen, Edward Lee 8/21/1956 - 6/12/2020 Jackson Ed worked for the State of Michigan-MDOC for 20+ years while building many structures around Jackson outside of work. He loved traveling, flying, fishing, tinkering and telling some of the corniest "Dad jokes." His passions were to give life advice to others or lend a hand when needed. All he needed was the back of a Bob Evans place mat and he could design the world. His pride and joy were his grandsons that would always bring a smile to his face no matter how much pain he was in. We all know he is standing in heaven next to Aaron and Nathan smiling down. Preceded in death by sons Aaron and Nathan, parents Linda (Willy) Nadell and Samuel Gorzen, and brother Gregory Gorzen Survived by sons Trent (Jodie) and Landon, wife Becky Lesinksi, step children Jessica (Matt) Basham, John (Taylor) Lesinski siblings Derrick Gorzen, Rick Gorzen, Mark Gorzen, Sherry Davenport, Sheila Harris, Denise Collis A celebration of life will be held June 19th at St Mary Star of the Sea 120 W Wesley Jackson MI. Viewing will start at 9am with the ceremony proceeding at 10am. Services will continue to Hillcrest Memorial cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his two sons.
