Glenn Nolan Jones, 81, of Lowell, AR, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at his residence.

Glenn was born on Jan 23, 1939 in Rogers, AR, a son of Glenn Highfill Jones and Frances Mae Carlton Jones. He was the widow of the late April Hollabaugh. Glenn served honorably in the United States Army. Glenn went on to work for Cities Service/Occidental Petroleum until he retired.

He is survived by his two sons John Jones of Nashville, TN and Nolan and wife Cindy Jones of Rogers, AR; one daughter Kimberly Buhrman of Harker Heights, TX; four grandsons Trent Jones, Rainer Buhrman, & Garrett Buhrman of Harker Heights, TX and Preston Jones of Rogers, AR; one granddaughter Isabella Hatcher of Rogers, AR; his sister Virginia Jones of Sulphur, LA. The family would also like to acknowledge Elite Hospice & Home Health, Visiting Angels, RN Clarence Bean, & Care takers Holly Jones, Josie Phipps, & Preston Jones for all of the care they provided Glenn.

Private graveside services will be held at Ft Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the Jones family requests a donation be made to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art or Pea Ridge Military Park in Glenn's memory.
