Linda Marie Allen of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 65.
Linda was born July 5, 1954 in Miami, OK to William O. and Dorothy Mae (Fessler) Cleveland. She had lived in Quapaw since 1980 moving from Commerce, OK. She was a supervisor at Oklahoma Leather Products in Miami, OK where she had worked for 43 years. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Quapaw, OK. She wrote, played and sang gospel music and she loved animals.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother Leroy James Cleveland.
Linda married Bobby Allen on May 24, 1971 and he survives of the home. She is also survived by her son Billy Wayne Allen and wife Kim of Rogers, AR, 1 brother Ronald Lee Cleveland and wife Cheryl. of Miami, OK, 1 sister Carol Ann Lunsford and husband William of Adrian, MO, 3 grandchildren Lesley Dunlavey, Taylor Allen and Jeremy Allen and 1 great grandchild Noah James Dunlavey.
Funeral serves will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at First Freewill Baptist Church in Quapaw, OK. Rev. Melvin Myers will officiate. Interment will be in Williams’ Timberhill Cemetery, west of Miami, OK. William Lunsford, Carl Tucker, Blaise Barker, Delmer Blaylock, Darrell Tucker and Larry McElhany will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
