Born in Norway November 24, 1886, he was a veteran of World War I and a former track foreman for the Butler Brothers Mining company. He had been a resident of Nashwauk for the past 27 years.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, Theodore, Jr., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Hilda) Keeler of Hibbing; and two grandchildren.
Burial was made in the Nashwauk cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Daoust, Kenneth Stokke, Hillray Stahl, Edward Prosch, Ernest Kokkinen, and William Johnson
