Lawrence Thomas "Poochie" Alford was born April 14, 1954 to the late Lent Thomas Taylor and Minnie Alford in Chicago, Illinois.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife; Betty Jean Crutchfield Alford of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His children; Ronrico Crutchfield of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Nequetta Alford of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Shanika (Matthew) Wilson of Bristol, Pennsylvania. His sisters; Theresa Johnson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Angilynn Taylor of Hope, Arkansas, Vickie Taylor of Hope, Arkansas and Dianne Johnson of Chicago, Illinois. He also leaves to cherish his memory eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A special brother-in-law; Lydell Crutchfield. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Service will be 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Harrison officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens by Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Family Hour/ Visitation will be 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
