Former Resident Dies In Cleveland
Mrs. Genevieve Gordon Weir, aged 29, formerly of Painesville, died Tuesday morning at her home in Cleveland after a week's illness of pneumonia.
Mrs. Weir was born in Painesville and educated in the public schools here. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Gordon, city.
She leaves two daughters, Miss June Weir and Miss Wilma Weir, both of Cleveland; her father, Jonas Gordon; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Williams and Mrs. Ruth Jackson, city; and Mrs. Mildred Gordon, Cleveland; and two brothers, Albert of Cleveland, and John Gordon, Painesville.
Funeral services will be held at the Union Congregational Church Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
