Myrna Kay Gibson, age 76 of Sunbright, TN, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at her home. Born in Scott County, TN on March 19, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Harold Virgil and Vera Robbins. She was a charter member of East Robbins Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gibson and sister, Dorothy Adkins.

Myrna is survived by her 2 daughters, Anna Gibson of Sunbright and Stacy Asberry and husband John of Robbins; sisters, Marion Nell Wright of Helenwood, Barbara Williams and husband Terry of Elgin, Sherry Robbins of Helenwood and Etta Adkisson of Wartburg; brother, Gerald Robbins and wife Oma of Robbins; 2 grandsons, Seth and wife Jennifer Gibson of Oneida and Braxton Asberry of Robbins; 3 great granddaughters, Jackie, Lila Belle and Maggie Gibson, all of Oneida; brother-in-law, Kermit Adkins of Indiana; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Gibson family on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins.

With the Health Guidelines in place at this time, we ask that you be mindful of the social distancing measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control.
