Lamar Henry Zeigler, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006. He was born in Evergreen, Ala., Aug. 31, 1922, with residences in New Orleans, Battle Creek, Mich., and currently Las Vegas. Lamar was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired as a computer system analyst with the Defense Logistics Agency. Lamar is survived by his wife, Jeanine; daughters, Pamela Zeigler (Ron) Criddle, Denise (Robert) Hobson, and Deborah Smith; a son, Dan Patton; and grandchildren, Aaron, Rachel and Nathan. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, with services to follow, both at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. The family asks that memorial gifts be directed to The United Negro College Fund, 8260 Willow Oaks Corporate Drive., Fairfax, VA 22031-8044, in memory of Lamar H. Zeigler.
