His wife, Mrs. Marlene Joyce, survived him; as well as his son, Jerry Joyce, of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick James Joyce of Kansas City, Kansas; and two brother, Tom Joyce of Marysville, Kansas, and Bob Joyce of Kansas City, Kansas.
The Rosary was prayed at the Gibson-Butler Chapel, where the family received friends. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph & St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
