Winifred Regina (Kohr) McQuilkin, 98, of Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, Pa went to Heaven on June 26, 2020 to be with all her family and friends who preceded her. Winnie was born in Corning, New York on August 26, 1921. She lived a very full and fun filled life. For the last several years she served as the head of a large five generation family. The last of her generation, she will be sorely missed. She is survived by her daughters, Jayne Keiter of Harrisburg and Linda Bear and her husband Paul of Middletown, 7 grandchildren, Jeffrey Keiter of Hummelstown, Regina Baker Eckley and husband Joe of Philadelphia, Grant Baker of Rutherford, Ellen Baker Parsons of Heardon, VA, Sarah Baker Garner and husband Jason of Middletown, Jared Keiter and wife Evie of Harrisburg, and William Baker and wife Charlene of New Cumberland, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and cousins, and too many friends to even count. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William M. McQuilkin and one sister Thora Leary and a brother Thomas Kohr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the K.M. Knight Funeral Home, 31 Second Street, Highspire, PA. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. A viewing will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in memory of all our many family members who have and continue to serve.
