He was born on October 23, 1951, in San Antonio, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Shirley Horejsi. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Connie Lynn Wheeler Horejsi; sons, Gary W. Horejsi, Jr. and wife Amber Horejsi of Buckley, Washington, Clayton M. Horejsi and wife Christina of Floresville, Texas and CPT Preston J. Horejsi and wife Christie of Killen, Texas; and 6 grandchildren, Darrion Brunelle, Whitley Brunelle, Josiah Horejsi, Jeremiah Horejsi, Jordan Horejsi and Elizabeth Horejsi.

Gary was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a proud member of Brahan Masonic Lodge #226 A.F. & A.M. He served as Worshipful Master in 1987 and the Secretary for 17 years. Gary was also involved in the Edna Masonic Lodge, Bandera Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Commandry, Chapter, Council, Allied Masonic Degrees, York Rite College, Texas Lodge of Research, Omala Grotto and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 30th, at 1:00 p.m. at Mission Park South. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
