Mrs. Sarah Catherine Shank, wife of Charles B. Shank, died in a Frederick hospital Thursday. She was ill three months after having suffered a broken hip. She was a daughter of the late John and Rebecca Motter Aumen.

She leaves three sons and three daughters as follows:
Harry G. Shank, Middleburg;
Walter D. Shank, Frederick;
and Melvin Shank, Frederick;
Mrs. Helen Utz, Littlestown;
Mrs. Clara Fowble, Union Bridge;
and Mrs. Anna Saylor, Ladiesburg;

also four sisters,
Mrs. W. D. Willson, Hagerstown;
Mrs. William Wachter, York;
Mrs. Emma Neuman, Baltimore;
and Mrs. Charles Myers, Emmitsburg;

four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
