CHAPIN, S.C., Catherine "Cathy" "Pinkie" Fincham Abrams, 60, of Chapin, S.C., went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 28, 2015, at Lexington Medical Center. She was born on March 3, 1955, in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, a daughter of Jack E. Fincham (Patty) and the late Helen Broyles Fincham.
Cathy was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church and the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. One of her great pleasures was bringing people to the Lord. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Cathy enjoyed helping others and received great satisfaction from volunteering at Lexington Medical Oncology treatment area.
In addition to her father, she is survived by sons, Chad Crone (Kim), and Jesse Crone (Chelsey), both of Dickinson, N.Dak.; grandchildren, Taylor, Cami, and Jack Crone; sister, Mary Fincham of Minneapolis, Minn.; brother, Tim Fincham of San Francisco, Calif.; step-brothers, Sammy Blevins (Tammy), and David Blevins of W.Va.; special friends, Wendy Crump (Gwin), Grace Seymour, and Haley Darnell; and many other loving friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015, at Chapin United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Jody Flowers and the Rev. Paul Allen. The family will receive friends following the service.
Cathy will be buried alongside her mother in Culpepper, Va. at a later date.
