SHIRLEY LOIS JOBST - age 81, of Stamford, CT died on Monday, January 29,2007, at Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice Residence. Born on August 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Louis Gautrau and Minnie Gautrau. Shirley devoted her life to raising her loved ones. She was predeceased by her husband Kurt Karl Jobst Sr. and sons Kurt Karl Jobst Jr. and Louis Max Jobst. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Edna Violette, Edith Conti, Dorothy Dean and brother Raymond Gautrau. She is survived by sons Gary W. Jobst of Woodbridge, CT and Roy R. Jobst and daughter-in-law Christina W. Jobst of West Haven, CT; granddaughter Jennifer A. Jobst and grandson Stephen G. Jobst of Stamford and grandsons Ian K. Jobst and David R. Jobst of West Haven, also a great grandson Maxwell J. Dolor of Stamford, CT. She was a longtime member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Stamford, CT and the OWLS fellowship where she held a position as treasurer.

At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. Interment will be at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT, Wednesday, January 31,2007, 10AM. In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice Residence, Shelburne Road, Stamford, CT 06904.
