Clara E. Hilton, 84, a resident of Belding for more than 50 years, died at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Joy Jackson of Kewadin, Thursday. Mrs. Hilton had
been living with her daughter for the past nine months.
Two other daughters survive, Mrs. Nick Spice of Lakewood, Ohio, and Mrs.
Abraham Stoel of Grand Rapids; and three sons, James Hilton of Belding, and
Lester and George. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. May Conroe of Ionia
and Mrs. Rose Henry of Howard City; seven grandchildren and 16 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Ellis funeral home.
Temporary interment will be at River Ridge Mausoleum.
