Addie was the daughter of Pearl Doris McCormick & George Lee Tucker. Her first name, Addie, came from her paternal grandmother and her middle name, Bell, was from Uncle Clyde Bell, her Aunt Cora Tucker's husband. She was born in Canton, Texas. Addie and Grover Cleveland Bottoms were married at Holdenville in Hughes county, Oklahoma, on July 17, 1923. They were parents to six children. She had been a resident of Cushing, Oklahoma, since 1973 when she and her husband, Grover, moved there from Seminole where they had lived for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Seminole, OK. Addie passed away at the Stillwater hospital in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Three sons, two daughters, 19 grandchild and 15 great-grandchildren survive. Services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole. Stanley Buckmaster officiated and burial was in Little Cemetery under direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
