WEST VIEW, PA. Helen A. Maly Herbold, of West View, Pa., who resided at Outlook Pointe at Chippewa, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007.

Born November 6, 1918, to Rudolph and Elizabeth Maly, Helen worked for 40 years at Mellon, Union National, and National City Banks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Herbold Sr., in 1976; a son, Arthur W. Herbold in 2004; three sisters, Elizabeth, Marie, and Ann; two brothers, Henry and Robert; a brother-in-law, Paul Faber, and a special nephew, John Weckley.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Paul R. Jr. and Judith A Herbold; a daughter-in-law, Donna Herbold; three grandsons, Paul R. Herbold III, and his wife, Laura; Gregory W. Herbold and his wife, Robin, and Morgan Herbold; a granddaughter, Lisa Herbold; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Clara Faber; a sister-in-law, Gloria Maly; many fine nieces and nephews, and a special niece, Nancy Weckley.

There will be no visitation.

The SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca, (724-775-0926) is handling the arrangements.

The family would like to thank the following and their staffs: Outlook Pointe at Chippewa, Beaver Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Heritage Valley and Aliquippa Hospitals, and Dr. Amar J. Singh and his staff for all her care.
