Mrs. Edna Maples, 81, of 5058 Main Drive, New Hope, died Tuesday at a Huntsville nursing home.
A graveside service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Moon Cemetery with the Rev. Rickey Honea officiating and New Hope Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include a daughter, Retha Maples Durgos of Las Vegas; a brother, W. D. Cobb of Florida; four sisters, Kathleen Bounds and Estelle Gibbs, both of Mississippi, Henrietta Baker of Huntsville and Ethel Fitzhugh of California; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Maples was the wife of Lawrence Dewey Maples who preceded her in death on May 1, 1971.
