Clifford J. Wyss, 89, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at his home.
Private interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Cliff was born January 17, 1931 in Allen Co., IN to Albert & Monica (Harkenrider) Wyss. He married Monica Rumschlag on June 1, 1957 in Decatur, IN.
Mr. Wyss worked in food distribution for Seyfert’s Foods and Archway Cookies from 1963 until his retirement in 1992.
Cliff was a member of St. Charles Church where he was active with the Knights of Columbus, 4 th Degree. He enjoyed fishing summer and winter, playing cards and was quite the handyman.
He loved gardening, maintaining a very large one for many years and donated much of the produce to the food pantry. Cliff loved to socialize, especially with a cold beer, but his greatest joy came from time with his family and grandchildren.
Cliff is survived by his wife Monica, his daughters Joanne French, Carolyn (Joel) Grigg of Massena, Janet (Kirk) Wiersma, Mary (Lawrence, Sr.) Delgado, his siblings Marion (Karla)Wyss, Gerard (Karen) Wyss, Theresa (Carl) Sorg, Evelyn Beam, Lourine Brososky, Lurana Travis of Springdal, his grandchildren Katy, Daniel, Teresa , Stephen, Lawrence, Jr., Monica, Cecilia, Jared, Joseph and Madeline; great grandchildren Ainsley, Easton, Anya, Zachary, Noah, Ezra, Natalie, Ronald, Beau and Benjamin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters Ronald, Gerald, Maurice and Linden Wyss, Rita Wicoff, Jane Jackson, his son-in-law James French and his great granddaughter Samantha Tesno.
