Obituary Dated 4 March 1948, Eagle Democrat, Warren, AR -- J.B. Lowe Attains Age 90 -- J.B. Lowe, 90, died at his home in Warren Friday morning at 4. He was born August 12, 1857 in South Carolina. On October 10, 1889, he was married to Miss Nancy Lillian Baker. Surviving Mr. Lowe are six sons, W.W. Lowe, New Edinburg, N.L. Lowe, Pine Bluff, J.N. Lowe, Mexico City, Zeb Lowe, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Earl Lowe, Oklahoma City, and Ernest Lowe, Stillwater, Oklahoma; six daughters, Mrs. Lee Ballentine, New Edinburg, Mrs. W.M. Fundinger, Van Meter, Iowa, Mrs. Margie Parnell and Miss Bessie Lowe, Warren, Mrs. A.D. Rose, Beverly Hills, California, and Mrs. Harl Parker, Pine Bluff; 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Eula Dumas, passed away several years ago. Services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Moseley cemetery with Rev. J.G. Murray of Fordyce officiating. Pall bearers were Ivey Harrelson, Carl Martin, Walter Moseley, T.B. Montgomery, Orlan Carter, Will Hargis, Ora Plair Tom Parrott, and Dennis Young.
