A lifetime resident of Nevada, Darren graduated from Green Valley High School in 1999. He also graduated from A-Tec in Las Vegas with an advanced carpentry diploma. He was employed by RJB Equipment in Las Vegas as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of several car and truck clubs in the Las Vegas area. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie J. Blue; and his grandfather, Donald Blue. Survivors include his son, Owen Michael Blue, and Owen's mother, Raeanna Lewis; his father, Malcolm Blue; step-mother, Sheryl Morrison; stepsister, Paige Morrison; stepbrother, Ryan Morrison; and grandmother, Patience Blue of El Cajon, California.
