She was born Nov 18, 1903 in North Manchester, Ind. On June 19, 1923, she married Floyd Moriarty. He died March 29, 1946. On Sept. 8, 1950, she married Dean Nellans, Sr. He died Dec. 26, 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Bette Cowen, of Warsaw; a son, William Moriarty of Tippecanoe; three stepdaughters, Juanita Paulus, of Rochester, Jean Clauss of Bourbon, and Jerry Smith of Mentone; a stepson, Dean Nellans, Jr. of Mentone; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five setp-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Shoemaker of Redondo Beach, Calif. She was a member of Walnut Creek Church of the Brethren, Argos.
Services will be at 10 am Tuesday in King Memorial Home, Mentone. Burial will be in Walnut Church Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Monday in the funeral home.
