Obituary - Fred E. Haddon, of Commack , who on Friday last came to this village to work in the new butcher shop situated that day in the Bee Hive building on Main street , while waiting upon a customer the following clay, dropped dead. The store was filled with customers at the time, Mr. Haddon was 50 years of age and leaves a wife and eight children, the eldest about 16 years of age. He was a man who always enjoyed good health only occasionally being troubled with indigestion. He was chief of the Commack fire department. The funeral services were held from the Commack M, E. church Tuesday afternoon.
