TRURO Charles Newton Reid, 57 Exhibition street, passed away at Colchester County Hospital Monday.
He was born at Upper Stewiacke, 57 years ago, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reid.
He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Bartlett of Truro; seven daughters, Pearl, Mrs. Lewis Brown, Middle Stewiacke: Margaret, Mrs. Lyle Higgins, Middle Musquodoboit; Annie, Mrs. George Hughes, Truro; Eileen, Mrs. Walter Bezanson, Upper Musquodoboit; Helen, Mrs. Charles Bates Jr., Truro; Violet, Mrs. Stanley Bezanson, Waterville, N.; Miss Thelma, at home; two sons, Roland, Truro Heights; and George, Waterville; three sisters, Mrs. Aulden Dean, Middle e Musquodoboit; Mrs. Carl Cole, Elderbank: and Mrs. Francis Dully, Sheet Harbor; four broth ers, David, Dean; Clarence, Eng land; Harold, Berwick: and Dou gald, Old Barns; and two half sisters, Mrs. Thompson Lowe, Springhill, and Mrs. Frank Fisher, Upper Musquodoboit. it
The remains are resting at the Mattatall Funeral Home and will be taken to Upper Stewiacke on Wednesday for funeral services at the United Church at 2.00 p.m., Rev. Mr. Burrill officiating. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery
