Doreen A. Aubin, 43, of Oswego, passed away Tuesday at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a long illness. She was born in Syracuse, and spent much of her time gardening, working with arts and crafts, and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking and creating her own recipes for her family. She was also a champion pool player and won the first place trophy for top female in the APA Championship of Oswego County, which was sponsored by Sticks Bar and Grill in 2005. She was predeceased by her father, Donald; brother, David; and sister, Debbie. Doreen is survived by her husband of 27 years, Armond H. of Oswego; four sons, Christopher, A.J., Shawn, and Cory all of Oswego; her mother, Irene Morgan, Memphis; sisters, Bonni Stark, Liverpool, Anita Currier, Pennellville; three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 with a service to follow at 7 p.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made to Strong Memorial Hospital C/O the Heart Unit (7340), 601 Elmwood Ave., Box 679 T., Rochester, NY 14642-8679.
