SERVICES SET FOR WEDNESDAY
Donald A. Armstrong, 64, of 349 Fifth St. North, died May 4 at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the First Lutheran Church in Havre.
Mr. Armstrong was born March 9, 1904, in Havre. During World War II he was engaged in military construction at Hermiston, Ore., and Farragut Naval Base at Hayden Lake, Ida. He also worked at Hanford, Wash., for the Atomic Energy Commission for a time and for Fuglevand Construction Company here. At the time of his death he was employed as a maintenance carpenter by Northern Montana College.
He is survived by his widow, the former Elin Marie Kraftenberg, to whom he was married Aug. 31, 1927, in Havre; two sons, David of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Donald William (Bill) of Whitefish; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Strawser and Mrs. James (Dolores) Farley of Whitefish; two sisters, Mrs. Eric Bradley of Hamilton, Ont., and Mrs. Gladys Tautges of Havre; a brother, Lewis, of Havre; 22 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
