FUNERAL SET ON FRIDAY FOR LEWIS ARMSTRONG
Funeral services for Lewis H. Armstrong, 56, Shambo Route farmer and rancher, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday [May 29] at Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
Armstrong was born Aug. 12, 1913, in Havre and was married at State Line, Idaho on Oct. 22, 1962, to Joann Holter who survives him.
He is also survived by a sister, Gladys Tautges of Havre, and several nieces and nephews.
For a time Armstrong operated a coal mine with a brother.
The deceased was an army veteran of World War II serving in Germany. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart.
Armstrong was a Shambo Route farmer most of his life.
