(AEP) in Lawrenceburg, Indiana as a Shift Operating Engineer and Maintenance/Boiler Supervisor for 28 years. He was a member of the Rising Sun Church of Christ, the Aurora & Lawrenceburg Eagles & the Lawrenceburg Sons of the
American Legion. He is survived by loving friend, Kathy Whitham; mother, Janet Lawless; son, Steven D. McHenry & wife, Sarah; daughter, Misty McHenry; step-children, Tony & Kendra Whitham; brother, Jeff & wife Lori; sister, Marilyn Craig & husband Kerry; six grandchildren: Makenzi, Landon, Destiny, Tanner, Madison & Bailey.
Pallbearers were: Kerry Craig, Matt Craig, Shane McHenry,
Adam Craig, Rick Sisson & Terry Scudder. Services were held at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun on Saturday,
August 13, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Brother Greg Matthew of the Rising Sun Church of Christ officiated the service.
Steve grew up in Rising Sun and had a passion for music, people and animals & enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on cars & trucks and painting them. May he rest in eteranl peace.
