Jimmy Charles Jordan passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020.

Graveside Service: 11:30 AM, Tuesday July 14, 2020 at Buckner Cemetery

Visitation: 6-8PM Monday, July 13 at White’s Funeral Home, Weatherford.



In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brock United Methodist Church, 127 Lazy Bend Rd., brock, TX 76087.

Jimmy was born October 12, 1936 in Weatherford to Jasper and Mamie Jordan. He married the love of his life, Brenda Doggett Henson on March 17, 1973. Jimmy attended school in Dennis and graduated from Brock High School. He served his country in the United States Army as a Specialist E5, guarding the Atomic Warhead, which is now on display at the Smithsonian Museum.

Jimmy was a painter of horse trailers for 20 years. He was a peanut, cotton, melon and vegetable farmer for 30 years. He and his wife, owned Baby’s Greenhouse before retiring to go RVing, camping, fishing and traveling all over the United States, they also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Jimmy lit up a room with his great sense of humor and laughter. He will be missed.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, James and Maren Jordan and Charles and Fannie Holyfield.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jordan; sons, Johnny Jordan and wife, Cindy, Tony Jordan and wife, Diana; daughter, Kathy and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Jeremy and wife, Brook, Hannah and husband, Emerson, Heather and husband, Marshall, Kristy and husband, James and Cheyanne; great-grandchildren, Ireland, Piper, Jax, Finn and Harlow.
