Mrs. Alessio was born on October 28, 1921 to Henry and Mary Brons in Chicago, Illinois. She leaves behind her son, Thomas (Lynn) Alessio and three daughters; Marianne (Peter) Burke, Christine Alessio, and Lynne (Dale) Beebe. Kathryn also leaves behind her sister Genevieve (John) Below, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Oreste 'Ernie' Alessio.
