Graveside service for Sue Mettauer, 93, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lower Melrose Cemetery with the Rev. Farrar Bentley, pastor of Fairview Methodist Church, officiating. Mrs. Mettauer died Aug. 31, 2007, in Nacogdoches. Born April 4, 1914, in Nacogdoches County, she was the daughter of Hunter and Ruby Seale. She was married to Douglass Mettauer, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Mettauer was a homemaker and a member of Fairview Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, Kenny Mettauer and John Mettauer, both of Nacogdoches. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. today. Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
