She was born on October 30, 1936 in Rochester to Floyd and Dorothy (Stewart) Paulson.
In 1955, she married Gerald D. Aaby in Rochester and they were later divorced.
Janice worked as a Medical Records Clerk at the Mayo Clinic for twenty-five years.
She enjoyed playing the piano, painting, gardening, antiques and baking.
Survived by her children; Susan (Sam) Young of Inver Grove Heights, Curtis (Sharon) Aaby of Rochester, Cathy (Bob) Patkoff of Mendota Heights and Julie (Dave) Johnson of Elk River; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Floyd Paulson of Rochester and Linda Larson of Shoreview.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Paulson.
Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester at 1:00pm on Monday July 31, 2020 with Rev. Lester Horntvedt officiating. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
