Age 84. Daughter of Charles and Erna Ebel. She graduated from Lidgerwood High School in 1942. Upon graduation, Charlotte came to Portland, OR, to work in the Kaiser Defense Plant on Swan Island. After the end of World War II, Charlotte went to work for Crown Zellerbach until 1961. For a number of years Charlotte lived in Vanport and was a resident when the area experienced the Vanport flood in 1948. Charlotte had a love of flowers and gardening. She was a member of the Battle Ground Gardening Club for 30 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, outings with her old friends on special occasions and going to her family reunions. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Alexander Dudgeon, whom she married June 2, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Erna E. Ebel of Hankinson, ND; her sisters: Lorraine and Elaine; and her brothers: Vernon, Lynn, Dale and Keenan. Charlotte is survived by her son, Alan Dudgeon and daughter-in-law, Nancy of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Darla and son-in-law, Carl Warren, also of the city; grandchildren: Lynn and Mary Dudgeon, and Kendal and Kaylee Warren; sisters: Lois Holcomb of Lorain, OH, Donna Krause of Hankinson, ND, Valdeen (Perry) Anderson of Mankato, MN, Phyllis Gentry of Cincinnati, OH, Annette (Ron) Niner of Houston, TX, and Karolyn Ahrens of West Fargo, ND; and her two brothers: Curt Ebel of Vancouver, WA and Lance (Marion) Ebel of Hankinson, ND. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
