Anna Hammontree Jumper, 67, of Dalton, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Hammontree was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Hammontree; and brothers, John L. Hammontree and Bill Hammontree.
She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Olin D. Jumper of the residence; sons and daughters in law, David and Angie Jumper, and Terry and Pat Jumper, all of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Catherine and Donald McClure of Dalton, Jemyrr and Gordon Ratcliff of Lafayette, and Norma and Ron Stinson of Brunswick; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gale D. and Mary Hammontree of Dalton, and Weldon and Margie Hammontree of Mobile, Ala., sister-in-law, Betty Higdon Hammontree of Cisco; three special grandchildren, Ryan Jumper, Hannah Jumper, and Heather Jumper; nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Sampley and Rev. Terry Jumper officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Jumper, Bruce Hammontree, Jerry Ratcliff, Cameron Cox, Wilford Jumper, Brian Thomason and Todd Cox.
Burial will be in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. A white dove release will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m.
