Mrs. James(Ann) Milks,49,Rome, died suddenly at her home
Tuesday morning, July 25,1972.
She was born Feb.16,1923, at Mt.Pleasant, the daughter of Dell and Sara Corzette Cosgrove.
She had been employed at the Mental Health Institute in Mt.Pleasant for 19 years and presently was a psychiatric aide.
On Aug.5,1940, she was married to Harold J. Dorothy at Salem. He Preceded her in death on April 6,1969. On April 17,1970 she married James Milks at Lockridge.
Mrs. Milks was of Baptist faith.
She Survived by her husband, and two sons Robert Dorothy and Thomas Dorothy; one daughter, Mrs. Richard( Thelma) Lane, all of Rome; two step-sons , Clyde Milks, Mt.Pleasant, and James L. Milks ,Denver, Colo. three step-daughters, Mrs. Neil(Opal) Lyons, Salem, Mrs. Larry(Etta) Weir, LeClaire, and Mrs. Beverly Prickett, Mt.Pleasant; four brothers, Fay Cosgrove, Chillicothe, Mo., Elmer Cosgrove, Dawn, Mo. Dan Cosgrove, Denver, Colo. and Marion Cosgrove, Mt.Pleasant: one sister Mrs. Louise Alior, Trenton, Mo.; two grandchildren, Mark Todd Lane and Robert Duane Dorothy II, both of Rome and nine step-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, James, and one grand-daughter.
Funeral services will be held at the Frist Baptist church, Mt.Pleasant, on Thursday, July 27, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert McElderry and the Rev. Peter Siemens, pastor of the church, officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
Friends may call as they desire at the Beatty- Jennings Chapel in Mt.Pleasant.
