Age 91. A Camas resident since 1935, Eva used to work for the Camas Laundry. She was a former member of the Camas Cemetery Association and a Girl Scout Leader. She was an active member at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Prune Hill Ward, in Camas. Eva enjoyed gardening, singing, crocheting and embroidering, decorating wedding cakes, making ceramics, making Candy and Peanut Brittle, and visiting the sick and helping people in need. She liked fishing with her husband Francis, and was active in the Camas Senior Citizens Center. Being very patriotic, she felt it was an honor to place the wreath on the Memorial Day for the Daughters of the Union Veterans. Eva is survived by her loving daughters: Jacille "Jackie" Campbell of Cascade, ID, and Mary Chamberlain of Camas, WA; sister, Thelma Gish, of Weiser, ID; 12 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Francis Lovett, in 1979.
