Mr. Alexander Hugh Evatt, 24, of Heath Springs passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his home. He was born March 4, 1996 in Lancaster, a son of Gary Evatt and Stacy Sherrill. Mr. Evatt loved to have fun and make people laugh. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Clemson Tiger football fan.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Evatt will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herbert MacCue officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Evatt is survived by his father and step-mother, Gary and Sunni Evatt of Kershaw; his mother, Stacy Sherrill of Lancaster; his step-father, Jamie Phillips and his wife Amanda of Lancaster; two brothers, Levi Evatt and Jaxon Evatt of Kershaw; a sister, Brittani Evatt Funderburk and her husband Joseph of Lancaster; his nephew, Liam Funderburk; niece Laila Funderburk; paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Arnold of Heath Springs; and maternal grandmothers, Hazel Roberts of Lancaster and Jackie Young of Kershaw. He was preceded in death by a brother, Trey Evatt; paternal grandfathers, Jerry Evatt and Steve Arnold; and maternal grandfather, Butch Sherrill.
