James Grebe Meier, of Cascade Township, passed away July 5, 2020. He was born April 16, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI. A graduate of General Motors Institute (Kettering University) Jim was married to Linda Brockway on August 2, 1969. He is survived by his two sons, Brian (Tracy) of Grand Rapids and David (Faydra) of Holland; grandchildren Rebecca, Christopher, Nolan and Ayla; his brothers George and Chip (Pam) of Grand Rapids, several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws and his loving companion of the past six years Julia Best. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda (2013) and parents George and Stephanie (Grebe). Jim enjoyed being occupied with home projects, traveling, sailing, family history and being with his family. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
