Estol Ward, aged about 47 years, died at his home in Lane, IL, Saturday, and the body was shipped to Bellflower Tuesday and the funeral was held from the M. K. church of this place at eleven o'clock that morning the services being in charge of Rev. J. T. Stretton, pastor of the church.
The deceased was born and raised in this vicinity.
For a number of years, he was operator and later agent for the Illinois Central railroad.
He is survived by a wife and two sons; a brother. H. W. Ward of Chicago and a sister, Mrs. Carl Miller of Chicago.
