Oliver Beaver, 87, of Eufaula, passed away on July 11, 2020 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Oliver was born March 21, 1933 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Winfred and Mae (Braxton) Beaver. Oliver was part of the archery club in his younger years. He attended Lindsey Chapel Schools. In 1951, Oliver married Mamie Vickery. They were married for twenty-seven years. He later married Faye Vinson. Oliver owned and operated Beaver's Custom Farming. He retired in 1985. Oliver enjoyed bowling, horses and farming.
Survivors include: his son, Elbert Beaver and wife Theresa of Riverside, CA; his daughters, Donna Thompson and husband Jeff of Bakersfield, CA and Cheryl Beaver and her daughter Lindsey Ortiz of Bakersfield, CA; his brothers, Ronald Beaver and wife Doris of Checotah and Everett Beaver and wife Janelle of Kiowa; eight grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mamie, his second wife, Faye, a son, Larry Beaver; two sisters, Faye and Edna and four brothers, Donald, Hubert, James and Dyton.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020, at the Kelley Memorial Chapel. A celebration of Oliver's life will be held at the Legacy on Main Street event center from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. after the memorial service. Oliver's ashes will be buried at the Triplett Cemetery after the celebration.
